Dragonfly Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

Willow Bridge Estate Dragonfly Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot is grown on a hillside vineyard in the Ferguson Valley, Geographe. It is predominantly from the Blinman Block, planted in 1998.

The fruit is crushed cool to static fermenters for a short period of pre-ferment maceration. It then ferments for around one week.

For maturation new and older French oak hogsheads are used. The final blend usually comprises 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot, though in some years small portions of Malbec or Shiraz are included.

Inky red, Willow Bridge Estate Dragonfly Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot is rich and smooth with deep dark fruit flavours, silky tannins and fine oak. Cellaring potential is five years.
